In this allegory about paradise lost, Ildze yearns to discover peace and fulfillment by moving from the city to the countryside. However, her thoughts are consumed by her child's illness, her estrangement from her husband, and his absence. Amidst these challenges, nature's promise of comfort fails to materialize. Ildze grapples with understanding the cycle of sacrifice—where it begins and where it ends. The question lingers: who is the victim, or is it herself?

Following his critically and professionally acclaimed debut feature "Upurga" (2021), Uģis Olte continues to carve his path in the folk-horror genre, this time in short form, examining the vulnerabilities of a traditional family and gender roles. Throughout his extensive career directing film, television, and music videos, Olte consistently positions nature as a protagonist, not merely a visual backdrop but an autonomous force with pantheistic, primordial, and tonally mystical qualities. The leading roles are portrayed by actress Anta Aizupe and composer-actor Toms Auniņš.
